I have always found solace in reading books; entering others’ journeys, mysteries, ideas and thoughts.

Recently I have been reading:

Infinite Awareness, The Awakening of a Scientific Mind – by Marjorie Hines Woollacott

Membranes of Hope,  A Guide to Attending to the Spiritual Boundaries that Keep Life Systems Healthy from the Personal to the Cosmic – by Theresa C. Dintino

The Overstory – a novel by Richard Powers

Each of these very different works is uplifting, inspiring and deeply informing in its own way.  One what I call a “memoir plus,” (because the author’s personal story is also introducing and analyzing an outside topic), one the result of years of spiritual research, and the last a Pulitzer prize winning novel.

With internet reviews and ratings only a click away I will not spend my and your time with my own reflections other than to say each has profoundly informed and subsequently significantly changed my world view.  Also, in its own way, each has helped me weather the isolation of this pandemic, as a reliable and intelligent companion when no human was able to be present.

Take yourself on an adventure: check one or all of these books out.
